LEADING ABSORPTION TECHNOLOGY
SPECIFICALLY SUITED FOR NHV
Structural advantage of natural cellulose for efficient absorption
-
- made of regenerated cellulose from wood pulp + cotton
- Self-supported by cellulose structure
- no melt layer
- no chemical binder
- no added source of VOC or aldehydes
No chemical binder
-
- Bicomponent PET has a low-melt copolyester layer
- PU is isocyanate-based > higher baseline emissions
- Kalle leads across VOC tests
Vs synthetic materials
-
- Natural origin
- No harmful emissions
- Matching NEV cabin-air-quality
- meets ESG procurement requirements
Healthy-cabin compliant
At the same installed thickness, Kalle gives better mid-high reduction; conversely, less material is needed for the same absorption.
Measured lead
Across 800–3150 Hz, measured peak absorption is ~15–20% above glass wool/PU (equal 5 mm).
Same effect, thinner
For the same mid-high absorption, Kalle needs less thickness — good for packaging and light-weighting.
Far lighter than glass wool
At 5 mm, density is only 53% of glass wool (668 vs 1254 g/m²) — lighter and stronger mid-high freq.
