KALLE ATTRACTS NEXT-GENERATION TALENT

07.17.2019

As part of the "Attracting Talents Program", on June 14, 2019, we were able to welcome 22 students and supervisors from the University of Hohenheim, which are making the master's program in Food Science and Engineering under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Reinhard Kohlus.

The visit to Kalle in Wiesbaden marked the completion of a 4-day major excursion across Europe, with up to three visits per day. This major excursion is a highlight in academic education in Hohenheim, as it provides deep insights into production and practice. It was a great pleasure for our managers of viscose and plastic casing production to introduce the young people to the practice. The insight into the practice will be completed on October 2019 with a guest lecture in Hohenheim.

Kalle recognizes that a long-standing collaboration with and support of local universities will allow us to successfully grow our talent base. Amongst others, we support the University Hohenheim (Stuttgart) with annual lessons, visits and projects and the Hochschule Geisenheim (in cooperation with Hochschule Wiesbaden) with 40 hours each summer semester annually for their B.Sc. Foodsafety program.

If you are looking for a partner in providing insights into the food and food safety industry or have any additional questions or comments, please contact Robert Wilfer at Robert.Wilfer@kalle.de.

We look forward to a collaborative future.

Kind regards,
