Polymer Casings Price Increase as of August 2017

Dear Customer,

Since May 2016, the polyamide market has experienced continuing and substantial cost pressure, especially on the back of rapidly increasing raw materials and strong demand across a variety of end-uses and applications. The year-on-year cost increase amounts to 27%, with further cost increases anticipated.

While every effort has been done to avoid price increases through our relentless cost reduction measures, it has become impossible to avoid a slight price increase for Polymer casings by 8% on reel stock and 5% for finished products, for all shipments after August 1st, 2017, or as our contracts allow.
